INBF Canada Press Release
For Immediate release
December 12th, 2016
In 2008, INBF Canada was established of out of the hard work and commitment of Mathew Park’s love of natural bodybuilding and fitness. His vision has always been to inspire others to break their own barriers and strive to meet their personal goals, whatever they may be.
The first INBF Canada competition was hosted in Edmonton on March 29th, 2008. During that competition, 3 Pro Cards were awarded, and the first Canadian WNBF Pros were born.
As Mathew continued to share his passion, he attracted a strong group of Executives and Promoters to further support his vision of a natural federation where athletes could be recognised for their drug-free approach to training and competition in a non-political, healthy and positive environment. Over the past several years, under Mathew’s leadership, the organisation has grown and thrived atop a strong foundation of Canadian Prairie values.
Mathew has recently branched out, putting his passion into his up-and-coming business, Peak Mindset. While Peak Mindset has always been operating in the background for Mathew, it took a backseat to INBF Canada, while Mathew and his Executive team increased the momentum of the federation. Mathew has recently made the decision to step back from INBF Canada as the President of INBF Canada to focus on growing Peak Mindset into a well-known brand. While the federation is losing Mathew as President, the company will maintain as an advisor and advocate in the natural bodybuilding and fitness world.
A new President has been selected, and we’re happy to announce the induction of Leo King. Leo comes to INBF Canada in this leadership role as a WNBF Pro, and together with his business partner and fiancé, Charlotte, are long-time promoters of the INBF Canada Calgary competition. Leo and Charlotte are the current owners of Kings Fitness in Calgary and work to educate, inspire and train bodybuilders, fitness models and power lifters. In addition, Leo and Charlotte are both active and engaged INBF/WNBF athletes.
Together, Leo and Charlotte will be responsible for reviewing the current state of the organisation and working with his Executive team and partners to continue to grow and strengthen INBF Canada’s standards, brand, athlete engagement and overall reputation on a global WNBF level.
It is our pleasure to wish Mathew all the best on his future endeavours and welcome Leo and Charlotte to the head of our organisation.
